Meet The Founder

Richie Onori

Onori’s relentless conviction and determinism has been the core to his ambition and mission. His vision was bred from decades of viewing the degradation and decay in the heart and belly of the beast “Hollywood”. Onori’s personal salvation paralleled the ills of society and upon his survival and bird’s eye view, he could lead appropriately and address, tackle and untangle the curse bestowed upon our people.

A Los Angeles native, Onori lived through the cultural wars and drug crazed times of the 60’s, 70, & 80’s. The steep decline and degradation in our society has now arrived at our doorsteps in full force. These disastrous effects if not addressed will soon become irreversible. Onori’s lifetime’s mission is now being realized with the formation of his Nonprofit “People For A New America” (PFANA), where The Arts, Education and Advocacy merge into one united front.

Onori had a vision and epiphany in 1989 which set his new course & direction away from the self-adoration in the rock world. His mission culminated with the formation of PFANA. Richie turned his full attention to the American and worldwide crisis we now face.

In 2019, PFANA was born. Over the past three decades, we have grown from a handful of advocates into a force of thousands of people. PFANA remains dedicated to the community values, objectives, and common ground that we were founded on. Our group’s focus is to achieve its goals by initiating effective “Calls to Action” which bring the community together as the group’s primary tenet and premise of the organization.

Visionary

As a visionary, entrepreneur and businessman, Onori has been a key leader in the music industry and interacting in all aspects of the music business. Onori has been able to stretch his outreach in order to play a significant role of using Music as the primary messaging factor for his Nonprofit “People For A New America” which unveils a multi-prong approach on creating America 2.0.

Business Career

Richie was mentored by Al Lapin Jr. (founder of I-HOP), Onori and Lapin successfully produced and marketed “Starlicks Instructional Video’s” to thousands of music and record stores across the nation. Onori’s next venture was promoting Levy’s Leathers Limited with his Rep firm OMG Music. Onori’s company took Levy’s sales in the U.S. from 100 thousand to fifteen million in sales annually. All this experiential background aided Onori when he opened Onori International in 2005 with over 170 sku’s which included his broadly accepted “Cowless” brand which he created.

Music Career

Founder Steve Priest re-formed Sweet in 2007. His handpicked band, including Richie Onori, with unparalleled musicianship and skills, has entertained millions of music fans around the globe. With hits which range from Ballroom Blitz, Fox on the Run, Little Willie and Love is Like Oxygen his group has performed for hundreds of thousands of fans and toured with Journey and countless name acts across the globe. Richie’s extensive touring with Toto’s Bobby Kimball in the 90’s was another landmark achievement along with being a member of Keith Emerson’s “Aliens of Extraordinary Ability”. In addition Richie has shared the stage or recorded with a diverse cross-section of artists such as Richie Sambora, Rick Derringer, Paul Rodgers, Louis Johnson, Ronnie James Dio, and Slash to name a few.

Creator, Writer, Composer, Entertainer

“We Rise” brings a powerful message to our nation by finding common ground through the power of music. Onori’s Nonprofit Corporation “People For A New America” (PFANA) is creating a grassroots “call to action” movement. 100% of the album net proceeds from the sale of “We Rise” will help fund one cause at a time.
